TheChurch@ denotes the geographical nature of the local church. Each gathering of believers identifies with the community where they are located. The local church cares for their community and fills it with the love of God.

The church is a gathering of God's children for the purpose of equipping, edifying and caring for the body.

The modern religious system has embraced open public worship services as the normal expectation for the church. The Bible never instructs this. It clearly instructs us to gather with believers and to use our spiritual gifts to minister to each other and to experience the presence of God.

It is for this very biblical reason that TheChurch@ Movement does not hold public weekly worship services. That does not mean that we are closed to other believers. We welcome anyone who professes Christ as their Lord and Savior. We would love to see unity in the body of Christ restored. We avoid modern attractional and invitational methods.

Each of TheChurch@ churches are unique expressions of God in their community. There is no set or standard liturgy or service style. The best way to explore TheChurch@ Movement is to drop us and e-mail and let's talk. Info@thechurchatmovement.org

A Christian Movement

TheChurch@ Movement is Christian. We embrace Jesus Christ, the son of God in human form. We affirm that Christ came to earth, died for our sins and rose from the dead to give us eternal life. Through this work He restored the Spirit of God to man giving us spiritual gifts and making us ambassadors of reconciliation.

We recognize the diversity of God and faith. We do not adopt creeds or doctrinal statements. We believe that truth is best found in an active faith rooted in discipleship not written dogma.
